Temaki is a contemporary Japanese restaurant in Mayfair, developed as an intimate dining environment rooted in restraint, material honesty, and spatial calm. The concept draws from traditional Japanese principles while translating them into a contemporary urban setting.

The interior uses a limited palette of warm woods, textured stone, and hand-finished surfaces to create depth without visual noise. Clean lines, controlled proportions, and subdued lighting were used to establish a quiet, focused atmosphere that supports the dining experience rather than competing with it.

My role covered interior design development and CGI, using visualisation to test material balance, lighting levels, and bespoke furniture detailing, ensuring the space remained coherent, refined, and calm.
